It’s not the morning sun.
It’s not anything that you’ve done
It’s the days that you can’t see
It’s the person you can’t be

Co’s iv got so much time,
and its time that’s on my mind
and there’s moments that you breathe,
all the sweet fresh air I need.

I can’t be tied down
I can’t pace in a cage
I can’t twist round and round,
for the circus crowd parade
I can’t lie in my bed with the silence of the night.
Like a child deep in the womb
Waiting till the time is right
I cannot be found
I cannot be found

An empty Ferris wheel
Moving in the wind
Madam Rosa’s locked her door
And thrown away her things
photographs have faded, dog eared by the sun
faces once remembered,
now not known to anyone.

I can’t be tied down
I can’t pace in a cage
I can’t spin round and round
for the circus crowd parade.

I can’t lie on my own, with the silence in this room
I strain to hear the world outside,
see the rising of the moon.

I cannot be found
I cannot be found
